coming as soon as my camera begins to work again.

determined not to lose his most potent ability, maglord had technological devices for magnetic control grafted onto the ends of two the new limbs the mutations caused him to grow, the warping of flesh and grinding of bone as his body tries to reject these unnatural additions pains him constantly. despite his horror at the mutations he and the other elementals have endured, he cannot help but feel conflicted about the effects of the mutation, as they have stripped away the harmful effects his presence had upon his allies, and despite the disfigurement he is no longer ostracised as all the elementals now share the same affliction. despite his own feelings, he is in no doubt as to seeking a cure, knowing that even if he can hold off the regression to cryostryke's primative level indefinitely, cryostryke and the others still desperately need the cure. an unsuccessfull foray into the home territory of the parasite yielded only the blades he now wields, retrived from a tribe of primatives, and though he feels that they may have some greater significance, for now he follows archon's directive in the wake of geoblade's resignation from leadership.

twin chitinous blades on insectile retractable arms (here pictured with one extended, one retracted) can extend with sufficient force to puncture titanium but once extended are easily deflected in subsequent attacks due to overly segmented physically weak arms.
twin traditional blades from tribe that worships the parasite, held in main arms.
magnetic repulsor panel grafted to upper left (its left) arm, acts as shield generator for metallic substances and simple shield for non metallic substances.
magnetic projector grafted to upper right arm (its right) allows "gravity gun" like control over metallic substances and concussive force against non metallic substances.

unusual levels of pysical strength, near unstoppable if any metal in surrounding area.

parasite gradually drives host insane and mutates unpredictably at random intervals. insectile limbs exceptionally weak at joints. some loss of intellect and reasoning.

Special abilities:
magnetic manipulation (limted), regenerative abilities, beastial/beserker strength and near immunity to pain.

Wow, this infection thing is pretty cool. From looking at the others, and I can see it has some strange effects.

Yeah, I thought I could use the more organic looking nature of some of that series to my advantage.

Could you tell me some more information about this "infection?"
leviadragon99 Featured By Owner Jan 7, 2010
Okayyyyy, let's look back then... The Infection was a semi-intelligent symbiotic organism that warps those it infects into unique beastial forms based on the DNA of the host and the rapidly changing state of the Parasite, it is communicable by direct contact or proximity (it takes longer in the latter case as it needs to adapt into an airbourne state) the intelligence of the Infrection is primarily oriented around affecting it's own mutations to best fit the situation, although it can also adapt into a full sentience in some cases.

Judging by the location in which it was found, a short distance from a recently disturbed tomb that was akin in some ways to a vault, it is possible that the infection is all that remains of a powerfull unknown entity, one seemingly incapable of true death.

Hmm, it would be interesting if the infection met the Chimera.
leviadragon99 Featured By Owner Jan 7, 2010
And that could be something from Bionicle mythology? I'm afraid I don't know much about the story, I just mess with the kits...

Actually, the Chimera are my own invention. They live for battle, and when they kill their opponent, they take whatever parts are useful to them.
leviadragon99 Featured By Owner Jan 7, 2010
Hmm, then either they'd get infected from proximity to a carrier or from contact during the fight, how it would react to their patchwork bodies... it's possible each part of them could mutate differently. (shrugs)

By "its" left and right arms I'm assuming you're speaking of the secondary arms, correct.
leviadragon99 Featured By Owner Oct 8, 2008
yeah, If by secondary you mean it's physically uppermost and asymetrical arms.
